Adult & Pediatric 1st Aid / CPR / AED
The American Red Cross 1st Aid / CPR / AED program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and 1st aid emergencies. This course teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
ASAR Floodwater Boat Ops/Swiftwater Technician Training – Oklahoma City, OK July 29th-31st, 2024
This class covers both the ASAR Swiftwater Technician skills and the ASAR Floodwater Boat Operations. Small animal rescue techniques will be the primary focus, with additional discussion about large animal issues and hazards in floodwater. Participants need to have the ability to swim in moving water conditions. Note this training has a 2-hour required virtual classroom session on July 24th at 11:00am central time.
Exotic Animal Technical Rescue Training – LA Zoo – May 16th-17th, 2024
This training is a great introduction for response team members for both in-house response teams and Ride-out disaster response and support resources. This class is two days and can focus on one or multiple species applications. This training is limited to zoo or other exotic animal facility partner personnel.
