ASAR 4-day Multidiscipline Training – Pensacola, FL – May 13th-16th, 2025
This unique 4-day training event covers three ASAR FEMA Resource Typed field disciplines at one location. Training days include: Large Animal Rescue Operations (LARO), ASAR High Angle Ropes and Rigging, and ASAR Floodwater Boat Operations. Participants need to have the ability to swim in moving water conditions. Please note check-in starts at 7:30am on May 13th, 2025; and the event will happen rain or shine.
ASAR Floodwater Boat Ops/Swiftwater Training – Leawood, KS – Oct. 22-24, 2025
This training is provided through both hands-on and classroom instruction. This class covers both the ASAR Swiftwater rescue skills and the ASAR Floodwater Boat Operations. Small animal rescue techniques will be the primary focus, with additional discussion about large animal issues and hazards in floodwater.
