Description
Incidents that involve water rescue of large animals require special considerations and knowledge. This class blends NFPA 1670 Technical Animal Rescue skills for large animal with NFPA Surface Water Rescue skills. This 8-hour advanced training is designed for seasoned water rescue teams and does require participants to be certified boat operators/USAR/ASAR/Task Force/PD/ACO or Fire responders. Agency affiliation will be required to register. Participating agencies will need to provide PPE and agency boats. Participants will need to have ASAR Swiftwater/Floodwater or SRT-1 swimming ability and proper PPE
