This 3 day course is a technician level specialized training. In this course, you will learn the basic knowledge and techniques required for personnel responding proactively to areas with hazardous materials present. This training prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with extensive hands-on training and real-world examples from experienced instructors focused on the animal response using the latest equipment. Hybrid decontamination methods will be used.

Satisfy your training requirements with this comprehensive class that provides in-depth instruction on how to perform emergency response activities. Topics include hazard recognition, spill control and reporting, worker protection, and waste site activities such as site characterization, waste handling, and decontamination. You will have the opportunity to apply your training during a hands-on simulated incident response. The manual, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Handbook, is designed to serve as your primary reference during the 24-hour HAZWOPER training course. Attendees also receive a copy of the Emergency Response Guidebook.
