First Aid, CPR and AED for Adults, Child or Infant
The American Red Cross First Aid, CPR / AED program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to a person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
The American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Training course will teach participants how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job, and what to do if an exposure occurs. The course content and activities will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about preventing bloodborne pathogen disease transmission.

This skill boost teaches individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize life-threatening bleeding and give care for a person with life-threatening bleeding until advanced EMS personnel arrive and begin their care of the person.
