Strengthening Animal Rescue in Disasters

In times of disaster, the safety and well-being of animals often hinge on swift, well-coordinated response efforts. That’s where the Animal Services Incident Support Team (A.S.I.S.T.) comes in. A dynamic partnership between the Animal Search and Rescue (ASAR) team and the National Animal Care and Control Association (NACA), A.S.I.S.T. was created to enhance disaster response for animals and ensure that no community faces a crisis unprepared.

Through expert planning, seamless coordination, and on-the-ground resources, A.S.I.S.T. strengthens the ability of Animal Control Units to respond effectively and efficiently when emergencies strike. Together, we bring together our expertise and resources to offer comprehensive support for animals and those who care for them during times of crisis.
